No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

1. Timely salary 2. Nature of Chairman sir, and MD sir.

Dislikes

1. Poor HR policy (not a proper sitting arrangement, very less PL etc.) 2. Terrible work life balance 3. Worst working environment 4. Too much office politics 5. Toxic people (all old employee) 6. Non competant General Manager. 7. Current GM is Mr. Jaivardhan, he had been fired from Bhansali just because of his poor working style, nobody of Acrynova or his previous employer wants to work with him. He don't believe in team spirit, thatwhy he is unable to building a team. 8. After leaving the company full and final settlement kept pending just because of Jaivardhan. 9. Jaivardhan has a poor quality of a leadership, thatswhy people are leaving this company so frequently.

Nice but lacks of technical know how and not understanding the employee views and not concentrate on production expansion.
