No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Very worst company culture on my tenure. I worked for my project for 2 years hospital billing. When I applied for IJP after 1 year they reject me without even consideration because my team leads and delivery manager not liked me.

... benefits and positions they enjoyed but management punishment only given to me. I got very less package even second year I did not even get 15k. During my tenure on Access, I helped many colleague's to complete the targets so that's the only reason that project there.

...b security. * No hike (manually manipulating the achieved performance metrics 2.3 to 1 for not eligible), whole management from the Director level to front line ER doesn't know what is the maximum salary for Senior user level. But, the hike will not be provided stating user is already getting more than the maximum allowed package. * Not allowing to apply for IJP, even if we apply, it will be rejected stating not eligible or we haven't clear the assessment. But, we don't know when the assessment was assigned to us and when we attended that. Assessment is not at all scheduled. * Plan leaves also will not be approved for the people they don't like, it will be approved for those who are taking Unplanned and uninformed leaves regularly. * 3 years of experience in the same company will not be considered as a courtesy and trying to terminate the users easily. * Spoiling the carrer easily for small human errors, which was corrected on the same day. * Made me to pay my 1 month gross Salary ₹49,650 to get immediate reliving instead deducting the 24 available earned leaves. As per the policy, earned leaves should be deducted and remaining balance amount should be paid to the company's account. But,they made me to pay for all the 30 days and paid me only 17k for 24 earned leaves as per rhe earned leave policy. But, it made me to loss for my money. *To control his attrition & shrinkage metrics, he will correct attendance for the users who are coming to office daily by after 8.30PM and logging off by 3.00AM. Having same years experience of TL and more knowledge than the TL in everything is not good for users, and users are not able to sustain in the team anymore under that TL. If the operations team is not need you, they will terminated very next day by identifying some silly reasons. Management thinks that person coming into the leadership level will have good capability to handle the team and this recruitment team is not at all cross verifying the people's skills. There are people who joined here as TL position into this company easily by cracking interviews with the help of thier existing Seniors. That particular person (Yenni Naveen Kumar) is having 0% knowledge in the below things -MS office (especially in excel), communication, e-mail ethics, team handling skills. He itself said many times to us, without his GODFATHER, he can't be able to joined in this organisation. His god father joined here as Assistant Director 3 months before he joined and selected him as TL and left the company now. Note: To prove his communication level, if we give him a test for some dictation words he will write something. Don't know the spelling for TOMORROW he will be keep on asking with the users sitting next/behind him, and many more things to say about that guy. As we both have same 9.6 years of experience, and I'm having more knowledge in team handling and generating all the reports, he want me to terminate me from the company, and tried to find many ways to send me out. The whole management knows that person is useless, still they are wasting money on him by simply paying for him. To avoid getting questions from the management and client end, he will have WFH user to manipulate the policy by updating fake temporary notes stating "Office closed" and also changing the coverages to show the case come into queue after the shift hours. All these are just to escape from the daily pending inventory questions. All the issues are escalate to Lead HR. HR team is going behind the operations team and working for them alone, not for the front line users. As they are taking same actions as per the conversation with operations. Hope this will help somebody to know about the company and the management.

Their leave policy, no matter what they will allow three leaves only that too applied and approved 2-3 months ago. One of my colleagues grandmother died and he took 5 days of leave but they approve only for 3 days. Everyone tries to do micromanagement, no matter how hard you work only people related to management will get promoted.
