Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

Classes taken from home. Supporting Seniors. Timely Salary Credit. Leaves granted without questions if not taken during rush days (exams). Great for freshers to get experience of online teaching. Students from all parts of India and abroad are present in the class.

Dislikes

Growth Opportunities somewhat lesser than expected. We need to call the students to make up for their attendance. Wednesday is the week-off, making you wait for a public holiday to socialize. Have to buy own equipment like Webcam, Laptop, PenTab, etc.

Initially it was good learning, then Byjus acquired it and now the digital wing is getting surviving.

Dislikes

Firm is about to get shut now. Poor decisions made by management. No appraisals for employees since 2 years.

Dislikes

There are no appreciation even if you put in a lot of efforts while teaching. No certificates or appreciation for your performance. Also, the management is poor. I got my experience letter after 2 months of my last working day.
