Good work environment and culture. Teammates and colleagues are very cooperative. Since it's a government office, working hours are not too long (6 hours). Got leave as per government holiday.

There's a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary was very low. Career growth is very slow. We didn't get salary on time. We always get salary 20-25 days, 1 month late.

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. After learning, I've worked very comfortably. But only problem was, there's a lot of politics.

All our teammates are good. All of our heigher authority is very cooperative, working hours is flexible . Job security is also good.

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
