Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Excellent for newbies who want to learn Japanese interpretation.

Dislikes

No work life balance. You have to work 9 hours, travel to several hospitals which are far away from your home and when you finally reach home after travelling 2 hours you get an emergency call from client for hospital. And go again and travel for support. Your Health goes upside down. Negligent increment or bonus.

Salary on time, bonus for working extra hours. Supportive work culture. Direct interaction with Japanese people so very satisfying and rewarding as an individual Japanese Language Expert. You get to learn medical and insurance vocabulary and the manager is very encouraging.

Dislikes

A lot of travel got my back aching, it's something that is unfortunately unavoidable. Random calls outside working hours/days do throw you off and has an impact on mental peace. Very hard to take leave as staff is less.

Work Details

I love the supportive colleagues and my manager (Vedha-san, truly grateful to you) and the emphasis of Japanese etiquettes in everyday life. I got to meet Japanese people on daily basis and help them which is one of my important goals in life.
