Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

If you don't want to grow in your career or you don't want to learn something new. Then you can join this company

Dislikes

There is no growth, You will not learn anything new. I had wasted 6 months working with this firm as a Trainee and didn't learn anything. The owner just wants you to keep on doing the same task again and again. My Job domain was very vast but they didn't give me any opportunity to learn or grow. They won't teach you more skills because the owner is afraid that you will leave his company and will join some other firm....Read More
