Initially it was good being work from home, but suddenly they told us to join from office.

Dislikes

Everything, no job security, no hike, no growth, can layoff you anytime, people who worked day and night, dedicatedly for past 1-1.5 year. suddenly HR calls and informs that due to expenses and costing people are laid off. This company cannot be trusted. But when it comes to learner, subscriptions are exorbitantly high and can spend crores on marketing. When employees asked about appraisal or growth no transparency is there, No leadership any tom D n Harry can become senior and lead the team especially the newbies If anyone is willing to make a career in Unacademy please think twice, read all reviews online, check with existing employees and then take a decision<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
