Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

Only problem is salary. For fresher, they provide less package compare to market's pakage.

It's a product based company. The company where I technically groomed. Lots of learning opportunities to the fresher's. Salary hike is very good if performed well (note: Yes internal politics as well matters).

Dislikes

Senior Management can't handle the work. Management is very poor. No respect of the employees, hardly receives appriciation.

Work pressure is too much. I have literally stayed in office entire week because of work pressure but yet the appreciation was not there. Company doesn't not have cafeteria . It's a very small company which has Max 30 employees

I definitely had a great time in this organization. The org may not look big but it definitely has good people in it. The learning is great and this will help you down the line!

Compensation is good but it can be better. We faced salary cut during the pandemic and the variable pay option was also rolled back.
