The work culture is very poor, with no opportunities for learning or satisfaction in work or salary. They only hire you close to your existing salary and promise a performance bonus, which is a total fraud. The performance bonus is just for show and nothing more. No defined job description, you should ask the Job Description and Location before joining. No Growth. Those who hard and Smart, will be given more jobs without any Financial benefits. No action for Idle govt employees.

Like other Tata Companies TPWODL is also feels job secured company. Tata Power is using their early experience of power distribution to make Odisha 24x7 power supply. During training I have learnt about many department related to Operation & Commercial. Due to heavy work load I was posted in commercial but now transferred to operations. Training is best part in TPWODL. Cross functional traing was one of the best part, I learnt about PSCC Operations. Operation training is less numbers but faculties for technical training are best. They are very supportive. When i have visited PSCC 1st time it's feel proud for me. PSCC is centrally controlling all operations of Tpwodl. I wish I can also transfer to PSCC and enjoy the remote operation job like my colleague. Timely salary, new technologies like SCADA, PSCC, Smart meter, Call Centre, MPG, GIS etc. all departments are good. Power System Control Centre have control room which operates 24x7 for continuous power supply. Through SCADA power restored within a second and all relays can easily be known....Read More
