The only good thing about working here are good seniors. The seniors are supportive and give you the freedom of choosing the stories. They are open to more ideas. It's a very good place to learn.

Dislikes

The company is always short-staffed. They rarely hire new people even if the desk needs it. The HR and IT guys are terrible. They just don't want to work and always have excuses for not working or helping out people in the company. The canteen food is not at all fit for human consumption. They give good food only during breakfast and lunch (probably because HR guys are there). The dinner is pathetic and sub-editors and other people working on desk get to eat that pathetic and literally leftover food....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
