Manager Level does not follow company culture. It is discouraged by saying that it is done by the complete manager. Despite being an All India level topper, he is being harassed with the strange argument that it is due to God's grace and that other employees have no role in it.

For those guys who have an entrepenuer thought process , this is a good place to experiment . The enviornment shall allow u the space to attempt, having said , u may have to do it all alone! It is a good learning ground . There are variety of highly respected products across the portfolio. The company is investing their budgets on digital and technology areas .

Compensation for those guys who are not digitally skilled are just fine. Mentoring is not part of HR process , having said there are some training programs in house. Appraisals though is a exhaustive in paper , but is not far sighted.

Generally speaking , my work in THG was to look at the entire region as zonal business head . The day to day work task included, team meetings, client and agency calls, business reviews, managing day to fay operations. Pitching for business .

The Group is fantastic, Newspaper is a benchmark, competitors want to emulate. However, the present leadership (outsourced & not from the family), is pathetic. HR Head (till recently, was- no comments). Owners do not know (probably as in what is happening) the real ill. The organisation should survive & survive well for the sake of Credible Journalism.

Any company can be handle with professionaism but this company was under over professionalism and it paved the way for downfall in all terms . All FMCG guys are appointed in high posting without having basic knowledge of this print industry . God bless this company and many were threatened to quit the job and their curse also one of the reason .
