Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

I have worked with techracers around for 7 months as an trainee. Seniors will treat you like a labour. Seniors will sit and enjoy, those who are working as a trainee, they have to handle the whole work of HR Executive, HR Manager, admin, store manager, Event management and you are getting only stipend. And at the time of increment or confirmation, they will show there status. If you are married and have a family in that case please don't join this company. They can ATL you any time...mostly if the employee is simple person they will try to extend your training period. If you will discuss with management, they will negotiate like a fish market...overall experience is bad......Read More
