The policy and benefits are beyond the expectations

Dislikes

Politics and biased behaviour. Performers will not get any appreciation until, unless you are not doing buttering of your immediate reporting manager. Upper management blindly accept and trust the feedback of any employee without any proof.

Very few people's are there in the operations who are actually well skilled. They know how to deal with any given situation.

Dislikes

Few people's from the senior management plays their monopoly. Those don't value the hard works done by the actual good employees. They have only focus on those people ls who are close to them or their relatives. Those management people's are not ready to hear the truth. They always want words what pleases them.

Culture of the organisation.

The entire support staff is involved in corrupt mall practice from senior to junior level. These guys are busy making money apart from salary. Most of the consultants are providing cuts to the team members.

Worst experience in Starbucks ever. I would say with a loud the promotion in Starbucks based is friends and family. As been working in company for maximum years 8.7 years with zero appreciation , no growth ladder and no one recognised your hard work you have done with many years while leaving company was least bother if you leavethem , leaders are very bias and they don't see a hard working employees they just are behind people who run behind them and give promotion to them . Unprofessional leaders are working with zero knowledge, skills , no management ethics just gossips , backbiting. And the people who really deserve are unnoticed and a bunch of district manager put them down as everyone knows the reality but no action has been taken till date . A company which I loved most put me down with tears , disrespect , I don't feel like going to any of the cafe . But the people I work was gem and they are real hero, and memories which I have spend will be cherished forever ....Read More

Bias leaders starting from HR to all operations , all are like friends and family no one take a action for the wrong ethic. And promote anyone who don't deserve a bit of it , IJP are for name sake ... everything is planned by them and it will be flow as they want.

Employees got paid during the lockdown. They took care of both vaccines. Three free drinks and one meal during the shift. Fun if you like talking to people, good for networking.

Dislikes

On paper shifts are 9 hours but we used to work for 12 hours most days. Again, that's a given for QSR in India and compared to others like McD, Domino's etc Starbucks is better in terms of employment opportunities and work benefits. I personally didn't like it cos Operations was not for me and as my store was super busy (understaffed) I didn't get much time to learn anything. It was a very monotonous job...Read More
