My humble request is that the prejoining medicals should be done in the seafarer's home town when there is a possibility. Me being from one of the cosmopolitan cities( chennai) in India has to go to Mumbai( flying up and down on companies expense), to get the medicals done. My city has a wide network of world class diagnostic centers which are approved by Dg shipping. Company should kindly consider this request of mine to get the prejoining medicals done from my city. Actually chennai can be made as the hub for all the south indians employees( which includes four states) for getting their pre joining medicals done....Read More
