Working as Head of the Dept. English of St Raphaels High School Indore has been a very satisfying experience. The Board Exam results of this school silently broadcasts its excellence and consistence of being one of the best in Indore Allmy working years initially as a teacher then being assigned the responsibility as the Departmental Head I have received tremendous co operation from my English Dept.and Management .It was very motivating and it probably helped me to innovate creative methods of English teaching right from Primary to Senior Secondary classes. The school is more like my second family. Work culture praiseworthy since the past and even today,provided the teacher continuously updates her knowledge and caters to the need of the student for the subject in a creative and result oriented manner.Salary might not be at par with reputed public schools / Govt.schools but not depressing either with regular increments and performance rewards. Regular educational and awareness student tours. Well equipped labs and libraries. Hi tech class room teaching facilities are indeed admirable. The best part of this school is to allow teachers to have their own free time to relax and update after school hours. The school takes a pride to care for the well being of students and teachers as well. Talking about politics I should say that being a Convent school run by nuns work environment for a teacher is not unhealthy here depending upon individual abilty to accept the work load during working hours. Most importantly Job security is incredible provided there is dedication, skill , devotion and patience while exhibiting excellence. I have been working here for almost 20+ yrs. We have teachers working here for 38+ years. Now that I am retired yet given an extension reflects the faith of the management on result oriented teachers.However I look forward to share my knowledge and experience elsewhere with the intension of helping students on a broader perspective....Read More

Dislikes

It is very difficult in life to achieve maximum satisfaction. Somewhere may be trivial matters tend to disturb peace of mind as it happened with me but years of experience and wisdom helped me to overcome it.
