Saturday & Sunday are off, but if there's a 5th Saturday then you have to be at work, and there are few good people in the company. The samosa party used to be enjoyable, but the quality has declined. Honestly, i can't think of much else positive to say about Simple Energy.

Dislikes

Poor Management: The Overall management is highly ineffective, and the Head HR is more focused on pleasing the CEO than addressing real issues. Unfair Policies: The total 3months notice period for all employees is a big scam. The company enforces policies that seem illegal, showing little to no respect for employees or their financial well-being. Misuse of Funds: The CEO purchases super cars and super bikes when ever the company secures funding, and CEO along with other founding members frequently party on weekends, reimbursing their expenses from the company account. Leave Policies: Every year they celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm, transforming the office into a temple and spending a significant amount of money, as CEO and Head HR is a devoted follower of Ganesha. However there are no holidays for Ramzan, EID, Good Friday, or other religious festivals, and there is no optional holidays as well, or there's no leave encashment. This clearly shows lack of consideration for employees of other faiths. Lack of Employee Benefits: Employees are provided with no benefits, and the company deducts from salaries even for basic insurance for families, offering only single life insurance and the CEO says this is the best place to work with good benefits and other companies are trying to make there policies and benefits like Simpleenergy..hahaha what a joke he is! Please note: (even small startups have good culture and good policies, benefits and they care about there employees, they knows clearly that if they leave the employee torturing then they will end up writing reviews like this). Unqualified Team (not all team): The boys (CEO's pets) is incompetent, producing subpar work, yet they are closely align with the CEO, always praising him regardless of the quality of his decisions. Toxic Leadership: The CEO, Head HR, and certain members contribute to a toxic work environment. Removing these individuals could potentially lead to positive changes within the company. Lastly, there's much more that could be said, but I'll conclude with a note on the cafeteria coffee. It's terrible- at the very least, the company could provide a decent coffee machine or something better for the employees. It wouldn't be too much to ask....Read More
