Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Their working culture. The trustees are not having the acuity of administration, so administration is very poor. Subjective opinion of people whom they employ and vengeance. Too much interference, due to lack of knowledge. Herd mentality when judgement or decision is to be taken. They thrive on donations. No job security. Careless attitude and low morals.
