Best work place. Good coordination between higher authorities and team leads. I left the school because I was personally not comfortable with teaching. Otherwise, a wonderful school with long term vision. Work culture is good with roots in empathy. I was part of computer science team an d I am sure that the curriculum of this school is the best. Right now, I am in a top university of India and if I compare, the grade 6 students of Shiv Nadar have more knowledge of robotics/ app development as compared to a second year b.tech student....Read More

Extremely biased senior management. Teachers working for more than 5 years bully the new teachers in name of seniority and they act super snooty because their attitude is backed by the management. You will walk by and the head will not see you but at the same time they will stop by to p ump up these bullies. It feels like you are always walking on eggshells. There is constant need to prove yourself. They fight to get work that is visible to the heads so you will see everyone is heading one thing or the other. Guess!! Its just done to silence the demanding teachers. The heads themselves are at clashes promoting groupism for their own benefits. And then there is a culture of rumours. You turn your back and nobody will speak good about you. Its a whole new game when new academic year starts and allocation of classes seems like a tug of war. Its an unhealthy workplace with no regard for mental health. For one’s own promotion people put each other down. There is no regard for academics. It’s just showoff of degrees and extra curriculars and how extrovert you are. You have to do something to be in the limelight. Post on FB to show off your lifestyle is also a big competition amongst few. Few show intellectuals superiority by sharing Rumi and philosophical quotes.. though they are not that person in private. Teachers treat children like customers and pamper them without scolding them for their wrongdoings in general because there is an urgent need for them to be in the student’s good book. They will go over board to work with students even at 9:00 in night not because they care for the child, but for gaining brownie points. They will put other teachers down by putting some nasty subtle comments in front of students. Work life balance is low. Students can watsapp you anytime and if you are a committed teacher you are bound yo reply at 11:00 in night. 😂 offcourse not talking about urgent scenarios. There are many such examples. The pedagogy was good...but was all fake and most of it was not implemented because the teachers were not trained. Some colleagues in senior positions had huge ego issues.
