Frequent reduction and cancellation of holidays. Extended work hours most of the days without any overtime payment. Low salaries and no increase. Incentives only for relatives and those who behave like bonded labourers. No recognition and reward for good work. I worked with SGT organisation more than 12 years. Work culture before 2019 was very good but later on it touched the ground and now you can say it’s worst in Northern India.

Casteism: There are two parallel groups are highly active in University 1. Chandigarh and Punjab. 2 Uttarakhand Politics: Due to politics of these two groups now, work culture is too much hectic and full of negativity. Management is gullible: I personally feels that every management is gull ible up to some level but there sky is the limit only</mark>. Forcefully Resignations: It has been reported many times that HR department asked N numbers of Faculty and Staff Members not to resigned immediately ( between 3 to 4 PM). and warns for adverse effects if someone denies. False Promises: At the time of interviews and selections it’s common to make false promises and later on management said that it was not discussed with us. Working environment of the department on faculty level

Dislikes

No ethics and no clear rules and regulations. Non corporative management and as faculty they expect to do each and every work except for teaching. If admission doesn't happened then it's your fault (marketing team will only sit and file there nails), if student doesn't pay the fee then it's your fault (students section doesn't take any responsibility). Non teaching staff is only for time pass and teaching staff have to do all the irrelevant tasks. HR doesn't know anything, every session new rules were built up and no body follows them....Read More

The best part of the job was to get a chance to interact with the students who are so full of energy. The time in the classroom is what you enjoy the most.

The Compensation is below average. The management thinks of teachers as disposable assets. They have no clear work-from-home policy for a curfew situation. The guidelines for this changes every week. They cut your pay when you work the same amount from home as you did from campus even w hen the flow of student fees was not interrupted.
