Those who are working from 10-14 years they have looted the company.There is a person name Kohli who looted this company like hell and still Directors of this company trust him. He is an illiterate who always manipulate the higher authority and work on different sites for his own benefit.

The company had stablished before 30years so there are many high qualified and experienced engineers and senior engineers of above ground piping and equipments by this way easily I have got experience in those fields.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent ,but growth is slow.Manytimes,I have to work 16-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend work in several locations and clients priority jobs but company's seniors has not take the value or respect those junior engineers.

Work Details

Generally speaking,my work is slightly challenging as I have to check above ground piping material standard and class,check the joint fittup,gap between them,welding,tapping point of lines,leakage test,complete these reports.

Am I on right path?

Right after my BCom, I took a service advisor role at Honda for ₹7K due to urgency. Later, I moved to a gas station for ₹10K, handling all kinds of work beyond office tasks. My breakthrough came when I joined as an order management specialist in Bangalore for ₹22K. To advance, I self-learned Excel, Power BI, coding, and automation, earning a specialist role. I also completed my MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain online. After four years, my salary reached ₹35K. With management’s support, I transitioned to a procurement specialist role at ₹45K + ₹11K (night shift), later growing to ₹58K + ₹11K by optimizing processes. I Have Better Experience in SGIL Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.
