Onshore folks are good and accomodating

India Finance lead (SJ) for onshore support is the worst manager I have ever came across. Employees are treated like servants and all the onshore requests are treated as priority. So at a time I was having 10+ priority requests, each request would take atleast 3-4 days to complete but the lead wanted everything to be done in a week. JD and the actual work is like two ends of a rope.

Office politics is there in some teams, promos will be dragged until you breakdown completely, work done by does not matter what matters the most is the managers perception about you, if you are introvert and unable to project the work you have done you are doomed , others will take the credit of your work and promo 😉

Recently, Layoffs are a yearly problem. Multiple teams are targeted and no valid justification for the same, despite company making good revenues/profits. Fixed timelines for promotions.
