Job security is only around if you're good at your job, Didn't suffered layoff or termination but it is what Leadership expects. Salaries are fair enough not competent as compared to market but neither bad. Somewhere in between ok and fair.

Top Management's open communication is something commendable. You get to hear the CEO and other execs from time to time on all important matters, they communicate frequently and listen to employee concerns. How much of that translates into actual culture is something questionable and I believe that it is due to poor mid-management. Company policies are good, there has been good support during covid. Job security is a matter of concern here. Work culture has become toxic and I attribute it to mid-management.

Dislikes

There is no job security. Firing is rampant. There would be no career growth on the tech ladder after a point. Politics is high and that is fuelled by mid-management due to their poor leadership skills. Good presentation matters here, management has only done presentation after presentation, has shown rosy pictures but unfortunately, nothing translates into the product. Existing product focus is lost, looks like they are in hurry to acquire the smaller company, consolidate, do cost-cutting and eventually sell the business. It has all ingredients of a service-based company in India. Verticals are not created around product lines, but around Dev, QA, DevOps, Security with a thick mid-management layer.
