If any company who cares for it employees then it’s ONGC. It isn’t called maharatna company just like that. No other company can offer you medical facilities like them. Your housing also get covered in that. These are just few to name, the benefits they offer are incomparable. A perfect work life balance example. Even the pay for freshers is more than any other. Dislikes

There is no disadvantage as such. The openings occur quite less once in few years. There are no jobs for computer and IT diploma students. You will be promoted once in 6yrs which is a drawback. If you are expecting a huge hike or post upgrade then it’s not for you. So the growth is slow.
