It's a very good organization. Am belongs to electrical engineering. It's perfect opportunity for core branch students like me. I am learning and gaining many knowledges here like tranformer, maintenance and operation.

Dislikes

Here the salary is very low. And it's not a regular job. It can't provide jobs for apprentice students .

It's good to work in optcl because it's better for electrical engineering students. It's a power distribution organization. I gain much more idea on power distribution, transformer etc

Dislikes

This organization does not given more important to the apprentice student. After compete the training this organization doesn't given any opportunity to the apprentice training student to working with this organization

If u are trying to do apprentice from optcl in telecom department ,please dont do it.U wont get a single inch of knowledge.You will end up being frustrated and not even a inch of work experience.Dont waste time here as apprentice trainee.Better try for management trainee.This company is good only for Computer science and electrical branch.Other branch student dont waste ur time here.Please consider my valuable advice for which u wont regret...Read More

At our bhadrak grid sub station everything is very well and I am working with the maintenance team and the maintenance work is done very carefully and cleary

There is nothing to say bad because it's a good place to do a good job

I am working as graduate apprentice training on the maintenance department where I have to do some work like taking battery reading,energy meter reading,SF6 gas pressure,weekly report,monthly report etc

Everything was good , but some teammates had very bad behaviour. And some teammates are too good . Less to learn , and work environment were awesome.
