The basis of ocean lifespaces is that, to survive one will have to brown nose the manager constantly. The Accounts team is terrible. I have seen them to be most insecure people in the planet. The Knowledge Transfer never exactly happens. Without Internal Auditor team they cannot even process a payment. Managers never want you to learn hence they would protect their job. Log in by 9 am and log out 10 pm and still people would stare at you. Accounts Dy Manager doesn't even know to group the ledgers properly. Terrible work culture. Management is futile. Doesn't give work from home even during pandemic time. If we still insist, half the salary would be deducted. Team doesn't know to even file a gstr. Team is nothing short of terrible. The team existed without a Finance Manager. Such is the quality of work. Appraisal for my colleague was Rs. 550/- ( he was working there for 4 years). Alot of politics. if you know the MD personally no matter how bad you perform, you can still survive. Managers wouldn't know how to make payable report and outstanding, such is the quality of team there.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
