There is nothing which can be appreciated accept the campus and colleagues( but that depends)

Dislikes

No promotions and increments. Lot of descrimination. Your teaching efforts and quality ,No is going to consider. Even if you are best teacher and performing all duties and your students are satisfied but that is not countable.

NIU is not a good university to be a part of. Salary comes once in a while (not monthly). No salary was given during entire lockdown however online classes were taken by teachers. Feb salary got credited in June. Today is 4 septemebr, no salary received from may , june, july and august. Also only 45% salary was given fro april. there are no growth opportunities. Washrooms are hell. Same washroom for students , cleaning staff and teachers which is very embarrassing. Unhygenic washroom causes health issues to many staff members. No soap, no sanitiser, no RO water. Overall not worth to work with. Even they don't have a photocopy machine in the building for students and faculty. No personal computers for faculty !!...Read More

I got an offer from both the companies, manager role. Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus Variable pay % is the same. Flipkart is offering a sizeable huge chunk in stock. What should I consider apart from compensation? Annual hikes, WLB, work culture, etc? (Note that It’s a non IT role)
