They give decent pay for the engineers which is the only pro. Please don't fall for it.

If you have a choice between accepting a role at NeoGrowth or some other company, you can definitely go with the other company because you will be far happier, stress-free, and cared for as a human being than at NeoGrowth. NeoGrowth doesn't give a damn about employee care. The HR team was harassing everyone to come back to work fromthe office irrespective of the department and a lot of people in different teams were given mandatory forced leaves with loss of pay during covid times. Here are some fun facts about the current SVP – Engineering & Head (Mr. Vamsikrishna Ithamraju): - In the name of ownership, he expects the developer to handle a lot of managerial work and support work too. So you won’t have time to concentrate on learning or actual development only. - Everyone in the team strongly believes that he is a wrong hire for leading the engineering team. He has zero knowledge about technology definitely, not sure how he ended up in this fintech firm. - He doesn't gives good hikes/promotions to people even if you really worked on a high-impact project or not. - If you ask even one question against him, then it is sure that your future is doomed in the company - He is not interested in giving work from home to people even during covid times saying some rubbish reasons and till today they are working in the office only. - He harassed people to come back to the office even during peak times of covid(first and second wave). He threatened people that he will cut their salary too if they don’t come back. - Till today, he doesn’t even know the number of different projects that are built and maintained by his team, or at least what is the responsibility of each project too. - He doesn’t know how to treat and retain good people. As a software developer your work load won't be much here on particular days and requirements can be very simple and minimalistic. But some days can be very hectic and exhausting . Salary is credited on time every month. Never gets delayed. In terms of job security, it is good. You won't get fired easily even if you are underperforming. Flexible work timings. Very less learning opportunities in tech department as most of the systems have legacy codes and it is extremely difficult to modify those. Also, rude and aggressive behaviour of stakeholders. Note:- business stakeholders will directly contact the developers for anything. The product guys won't inteface much with the stakeholders. So, you will have to deal with everyone yourself and bear all the pressure from business stakeholders directly Also management is also not much keen on making/adopting new technological advancements. Also do not expect any hikes or bonuses. They don't like to share their profits. No WFH policy even during these tough times.(The recruiters won't tell this at the time of hiring) Last Saturday of every month is working day. To be very honest it is the worst company that you can be in, only join if you don't have any job in hand other wise don't join, management is extremely toxic.
