Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? The vice principal of this school is very learned and motivating but primary incharge is a complete wackjob. Apparently she is an English Teacher who fumbles for words and all that their primary department does is play games. They promote rote learning and class incharges are really irritating and have no knowledge of any subject. Not a school where you can grow.
