The culture is really bad. Merino compelled everyone to work from office during Covid when there were restrictions on movement, no arrangements were made for safety of employees. Employees were exploited and exposed to Covid risk at the highest possible level. Inspite of advisories by govt, office was kepy open for roles that didn'trequire physical presence. Salaries were deducted and there was no communication for over 5 months till when the deduction will keep on happening. And this was when, the sales had picked up well after lockdown. All other companies had restored the salaries. The office is really in bad shape. Being a laminates manufacturing co., their office feels 2 decades old. No ventilation, no natural light, power and wifi outages are frequent. There's no functional cafeteria where you can order and eat food. Very less meeting rooms for discussions. 6 days work culture that drains you completely. On top of this, come what may there's NO FLEXIBILITY. The variable pay is not paid on time. The F&F policy is not defined properly. They don't even clear F&F and ask you to accept whatever amount they are releasing. They will harass you after putting down the papers. The washrooms were filthy and stinky, they didn't have proper office boys and sweepers to maintain the premises. During events they don't invite the entire team. They try saving every single penny that can we spent on employees welfare and motivation. DO NOT JOIN THEM, EVEN IF THEY GIVE YOU 100% HIKE.
