I like the work culture in Maersk.. it is an employee oriented company, particularly safe for women employees in all aspects. Opportunity to grow is very high

Salary wise you cannot expect much in this concern, single digit hikes, otherwise all good

Work culture is good, Job security is also there depends on individual performance, management support is moderate, but you can connect to your senior management directly. Year hike & promotion are to low as compare with other MNC'S.. If any one want to grow fastly in terms of their financial & professional in their career then this is not the right place bec of high hierarchy in positions & low increment after promotions. For IJP in other teams candidate should effort their own for traning & process k nowledge along with there working hrs as a adhoc. Soft skill training is there but not helps in process knowledge!!...Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
