My team members were good. There is so much pressure on everyone that everyone is ready to help everyone else.

Dislikes

We had to stay back in the school quite often. And for this, we were informed that very morning. In 10 mins breakfast time, teachers had to mark the bus attendance which would leave them with no time to eat. Even in the 20 minute lunch break, teachers were given break duty, sometimes even twice a week in which they had to be on the corridors maintaining discipline. In the same time, we were supposed to have our lunch. So the work conditions are harsh....Read More

Work Details

There is a lot of work to carry back home. There is one single free period in the entire day. There is no concept of a staffroom as we hardly have free time.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
