Good company to work with .Lot of leaves and very much focused on safety. 9 hours compulsory working hours which includes 30mnt lunch. Evrtome you go out or take a break you have to swipe out. Good focus on training . Considering EPC business follows old procedure and practices. Respect employees and value ideas.

Dislikes

Office time monitoring.Old schhol thought.compulsory 9 hours in office everyday, directly linked with attendance management system. Time to change this.

As a company Linde was excellent, now the company got merged with Praxair and the management has gone into Praxair hands, so the people at Praxair dont have any humanness, they are 100% selfish team, Praxair plays high end politics, if they don't like any employee they will put false blame and damge his name in the company and forceto leave irrespective of his performance. Hence any new joinee I don't recommend. I worked in Linde for 15 years. You can join if you wish to work for 1 or 2 years only. No binding between employees. Works like enemies. Opportunities are there for growth but lots of hindrance needs to be faced from manager for that.

People work less and gossip more.also the kolkata HO is not located in a good place to have food or snacks. People mistakes this company as a MNC, but the culture is not at all a MNC type.Last but not the least HR team sucks in Linde.

No work life balance at all. You can be called anytime for any work. For small on site plants, you have to stay nearby the plant, and company will not even provide transportation . You cannot go home without managers permission. No concept of time. You have to be available always for the plant. Basically you dedicate yourself to linde.
