Salary comes on time every month no matter what. I think leave policy is also good and leaves can be availed without too many approvals as is the case with other organisations. Flexible working hours and job security for some reason.
No vision for career growth of employees. Promotions are rare and very difficult for some reason for example many employees haven't been promoted from last 10 years and so. Also salary discrepancy exists at highest level as no slab system for salary is being followed by the company. Very process oriented and local HR team is reluctant to override these processes even if it means to loosing some of the key employees. No employee retention policy, they will happily let you go even if you have spend a life time there and are a core member of the team. Overall company does not present a good platform for budding employees however if you are very high in the hierarchy and get a senior manager role or above, then it might be the place for you. Less stress and slow pace environment will be good for someone who wants to settle down without caring much about the work culture and learning development. Nothing to like about Jio. Being the biggest telecom operator in India.. The work culture, timings, bosses are the worst. Pressure is extreme.. An employee has to work 12 hrs + everyday. Several VCs and meetings are aligned throughout the day. Mental and physical health will be both at stake.
1.Bosses .. All fake.. Everyone will show they will give u time to learn but need results from day 1. 2.There is always abusing language cursing you whole day. Specifically Mr.Ghosh and Mr. Basak.. They will harass you like anything. 3.there is no work life balance in jio.. Even you have to work on Sundays. 4.Atlast there is no job security at all.. They will force you, threaten you to resign.. Or they will make you black listed. 5.Salary comes in time.... But other than that there is mere conveyance . The opportunities that were provided were good. But there's no backing up for those opportunities by the managers.
