Politics, every employee gets an opportunity to shine boots of his superiors, its like Indian political scenario. Jagran is true democracy, the numbers rule the roost and competence and sincerity is confounded by sheer amount of flattery. you don't need any proof to substantiate these claims, their downfall over the past years is enough to validate.

Dislikes

Group of people from Radio city once visited Jagran MMI online and they surmised the working environment as an ICU ward. That's what they offer you in terms of ambiance, work culture etc etc.. This company is just blood sucking leech.

Working in a news industry is all about team work. I learnt a lot here and honestly it's the potential and hard work of an individual that pays at last. All other things like job security, Carrer growth are respective of your consistent, accurate and innovative performance. In media industry, every second counts literally.

In beginning, you may not have your choice in working shifts but I think that should not be an issue if you have passion for work.

I worked there as trainee sub-editor in online English department. My work area included correcting, writing or rewriting the news provided by news agencies. Updating our website regularly and endeavouring constantly to add extra facts.

The work environment was great and motivating. The company was strong on rules and even sensitive towards woman related issues. always stood ground. the best part was that you could explore roles and people were making u learn more things and making sure u are working and even having a great time at work place
