Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Most of the existing employees are newly joined so no positive outcomes from knowledge transfer session or trainings therefore you yourself has to push more to understand the project. No work-life balance, mostly people seats for 10+ hours. No other benefits except PF facility.

In some roles, you can work from home. You can come into office any time between 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Other employees are mostly good and friendly.

Dislikes

The management seems to be directionless for the last two years. They don't know how to retain employees, which candidates to hire, and when to give appraisal.
