Firstly, I got a call from HR to discuss about job offer. I appeared for an interview immediately and within a week, I got a call saying that I have been selected by client. It was a third party payroll actually. ( Candidate will be on Ivitesse's payroll but will work for some BFSI domain client based in Mumbai) Then I was asked to submit the scanned copies of all academics, work experience, PAN,Aadhar etc And then they asked me to handover all original documents to them for atleast 3 months because those are required for background verification purpose & the process takes at least this much time, HR said. ( Firstly I got little confused with this because no company asks for original documents of any candidate, the scanned copies are enough for them to carry out Background Verification ) They asked me to come to Magarpatta Pune office with all original documents. I agreed since I had to show all original documents to HR and requested them to take the photocopies of documents if required. Now this time, two people ( MD and Mr Sumbali )pressurized me to keep original documents with them as part of process. I said that all original documents are in front of you and you can check them. I am sure that BGV wont fail. If you still need any clarification, I am there to answer. But dont take my original documents since I shared scanned copies. They started pressurizing me for submitting original documents and asked me logical reason for not submitting original documents to them.. But I did not do so hence even after having my scanned copies, they kept my profile on hold. ( Till the time I come to Magarpatta office, it was an urgency and asked me to join within 15 days and now HR said that profile is on hold . Again second reason for confusion) Then I asked some time to think about their request of submitting original documents and went out for lunch. During lunch, I called some of my friends in Infy, TCS, CitiBank who were working in BFSI domain and explained them the case. Feedback was same( Need not submit original documents as scanned copies are sufficient) Then I read the review that company doesn't pay salary on time ( generally it is delayed by 20-25 days every month). Hence people tend to leave the job within a month or two without even taking latest salary. That might be the reason many employees left during working with client in Mumbai. Now they don't want any candidate to leave though company is not paying salary on time....Having original documents in their custody is the best way to stop candidate.. A candidate cant even appear for another interview since he has no original documents... PLEASE BE SAFE....IF AN HR( LESS BY EXPERIENCE) SAY SO WE CAN UNDERSTAND... The work pressure depends upon the project. Usually one gets plenty of time to complete the tasks. i would say it's the best organization to stay where you either want to take a break and think about what you want to do next or you need a job with high job security.
