Its a service based company. The kind of job one gets to do depends on the project. It could be interesting or mundane. Skill development, work life balance, and work satisfaction also depends on the project one is asigned. Job security depends on the feedback given by client. However, writers are given adequate support and job security is good when compared to other companies. Work from home policies and leave policies are changing based on client policies. The Innovatia office does not have a basic facility such as a good internet connection.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
