No Business pouring in and every year there is Re-org and it deeply impacts to all employees. Many changes within the org, rather than concentrating of getting business, they are into re shaping the company's policies and reshaing internal structure, which is of no use.

Work life balance is poor. Expectation is to work 24 hours a day. Seniors are expected to work for 2 person. My team only had 2 interns. Burn out. Management thinks we shud close all bugs in one day else get ready for the bash. Lot of intimidations happen in meeting.

No personal life, 24x7x365 job. And Boss is GOD in this organization. What ever he/she said, YOU HAVE TO DO. One of the most pathetic You join healthy and physically fit but after some days you start facing health issue like: headache, BP, because of work pressure.

Work life balance is there since there is no goal set done by the managers. Harman's policies are employee friendly but not the managers.

Managers. Worst ever. Even if you performance better they will come with something u realistic that you didn't do. They will block your promotions and won't even give good hike.

Harman has various verticals. Like DTS, Lifestyle and Automotive. I'm specifically talking about Automotive. Harman automotive underwent a management change 2 yrs back and this year alot of people were fired. I do believe management was more at fault as they were unable to bring in sales and customers. The appraisal is not in the hands of an employee anymore. Employees are assigned to spaces decided by the manager and if the spaces perform you are lucky else the hike goes for a toss irrespective of the work you have put in your day to day job....Read More

This was the first company where I saw Indians held senior roles & behaved equal (sometimes superior) to foreigners

Dislikes

Maybe it was specific to my VP but the work environment was very toxic. Women were treated as secretaries. Because the team is global, work was 24/5 & your work was not recognized or appreciated, it was taken for granted. No support from HR, they only reacted to the VP.

everything other than JBL speaker as gift. They will be fooling you around by promising good hikes and promotions and when it comes to fulfill it they will come up with some other story. No growth at all. I feel like wasting my precious 3 years on them.
