Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

initially my job was to test the circuit boards which are working or not. Then they gave me opportunity to work on Development. They nurtured me from fresher to experienced person.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

I got promoted as a project manager . I was handling Bangalore projects as On site . It was a very much impressive phase learning to meeting all clients builders for project confirmation to project completion and billing . Was really good experience for me. The freedom of idea and commitments and authority they issue can never been expected from any other companies
