THE COMPANY IS OPEN TO INNOVATION AND READILY ADOPTS LATEST TECHNOLOGY.I LOVE THE FACT THAT I AM A PART OF A TEAM THAT MARKETS RELIABLE ,HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS AND HAS A GLOBAL CLIENT BASE.AS A RESULT , BUT ON SITE TRAVEL IS COMPLETELY DEPENDENT ON YOUR PROJECT AND CLIENTS LOCATION.MINE IS A INDIA BASED CLIENT AND THEY HAVE SOME OFFICES IN GURUGRAM.ANOTHER PLUS POINT IS THAT MY COLLEAGUES COME FROM VARIOUS CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS AND WE WORK HAPPILY IN COLLABORATION.I ALSO LIKE THE EMPLOYEE RE-HIRE POLICY HERE....Read More

COMPENSATION IS DECENT BUT GROWTH IS SLOW.THE WORK PRESSURE IS VERY HIGH.SOMETIMES I HAVE TO WORK 14-18 HOURSSTRAIGHT IN A DAYAS I HAVE TO ATTEND CLIENT CALLS IN THE EVENING AND SOMETIMES LATE INTO THE NIGHT.

Work Details

GENERALLY SPEAKING MY WORK IS SLIGHTLY CHALLENGING AS I HAVE TO LOOK AFTER THE ENTIRE PROJECT EXECUTION.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within City.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
