This is a really nice place to work. Very innovative, high on passion, energy, qualty and discipline. Chalta hai attiude just doesn't work in CG. When brands like NUS, NTU, Softbank, HPE, Amazon, IITs, BITS Pilani, etc trust you, high performance and quality of work is surely a top priority. We have global ambitions and should get there in 2021. I was a bit surprised with some negative reviews and later figured out that they were all well orchestrated and given the same day by 4 ex-employees who were told to move on due to non-performance. They were in CG for over a year and failed to perform for 4 quarters in a row, were on PIP before they were asked to move on. So do take it with a pinch of salt. Otherwise, an absolutely superb environment, with a lot of freedom to create and excute processes. The ownership of every individual is really high. Targets in sales and business are steep since we are planning to double revenues every year. Nothing to dislike except that employee's role definitions could be a bit more structured. Employees dabble in multiple roles.

It has got a very motivating entrepreneurial culture. There is a lot of freedom to take initiative and experiment. There is exposure and hands-on learning across multiple functions. It is high in learning agility. You have to master brand new stuff in days, not weeks. As a fresher, you can take up leadership roles in 2 years, not decades.

Dislikes

Chaos, speed, and aggression can be a huge put off. You have to find your way through chaos. Else you can't survive. Those who joined from structured corporate had a huge challenge fitting into the culture and left in months.

Worst Place to work, no work ethics within the team. Founder and Co-founder both are useless creatures. They dont have any growth plans of the company just fooling people. Making students fool in the name of Internships at NUS, and grabbing hard earned money of their parents approx above 5 lacs. Dont join this organization ever please.

Corporate Gurukul is a good place to explore different verticals and get an understanding of end-to-end operations instead of being stuck to exactly your role. It's a very small team which amounts to loaded pressure but the team is closely knit so everyone is willing to support in whatever way possible.

Dislikes

The frequent strategy changes and the learning sessions could perhaps be done away with it seems to send the teams off-track, the quality of work degrades.

It's a great place to work if you are used to the start-up culture or are looking to get into one. A lot of opportunities to work in various roles. That's one thing I like about the company and my role. Personally had the chance to work in sales (UAE and India), Digital Marketing, Product, and projects. A small team so no shortage of responsibilities. I like how involved the management team has been. Created a really nice wfh culture for the team. Earlier, work hours used to stretch but active steps were taken after feedback. Rules have been put in place now and work never goes beyond 7. Since it's a learning and development company, a lot of emphasis is given on product and skill training. Sometimes roles used to overlap a lot and it would get really difficult to manage multiple roles at the same time. The workload used to increase. The management has been taking steps to improve this, and it has improved a lot, but still room for improvement
