Work life balance at its best only 5 days working Govt firm

Work-life balance - Excellent

Dislikes

Poor management. Staff are literally illiterate and from lower strata of society who lack basic courtesy of how to treat their fellow coworkers. These people were literally office boys who are converted to full time employees by CGTMSE and hence such nuances are faced by higher class employees.

Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Please some some give best advice?
