There was so much to learn there, and I made the most of the opportunity. It was an enriching experience.

Dislikes

I have noticed that certain members of the HR team, especially those who have been with the company for 2–3 years, contribute to a negative environment. Some female staff members seem to engage in workplace harassment and office politics, which adversely affects the morale and culture of the organization. Because of this, many employees do not stay beyond 1–2 months. I believe addressing these issues could significantly improve the company’s work environment and employee retention....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
