Highly political game at leadership level ,the UK folks are highly insecure if India does good ,they will go to any extent and move good guys out so no job security at senior level . They do not like Indians in mgmt level

Due to poor management and organisation structure , promotion ladder has been removed for all employees except top level executives. They move to next level very easily. Salary is very less compared to Service based companies Work life balance is only on Papers , in real they keep monitoring all employees attendance. Work from office is mandatory , there is no work from home option. Every movement is office is monitored, managers will be behind for all work and keep micro managing. Management is more likely from Delhi and Gurgaon , promotion ladders are decided from Delhi. South region is considered only for low class labours. Very old and vague process in all areas of BT , it makes every person to struggle and take blame on them during performance reviews . Finally company and management will not accept of using old tools and technologies without any process , they blame on person for not completing the task or not achieving it. They have old technology in some countries and no telecom service in some countries , we need to provide and deliver project in those countries without any support from BT. however we need to take sole ownership without any authority to accomplish project. Work life balance is at its best. In BT there is no concept of promotion. Everything is skill based. To move to upper level one needs to clear skill test and interview. Same for IJP. Hence, skillset gets at most priority. The L&D is great in this company. They really focus on employee's skill development. Great company to work with.

I've been with BT for a while now, and I can confidentely say that it is a fantastiv place to work, One of the standout features of the company is the strong emphasis on job security The work life balance here is exceptional, BT encourages employees to maintain healthy balance beetween there professional and personal lives. While there are some positive aspect of working with BT, there are signifificant drawback that deserve attention, One of the major issue is the management style, which can ofter feel egoistic, If you happen to have supportive manager, your experice can be positive, but if you're assigned to a less empathetic supervisor, it can drastically affest your work life balance and overall job satisfaction. The lack of consistent appraisal system is another cocern. Despite hard work and dedication, many employees fin that their contributions go inrecoganized, leading to frustration. Additionally the resigntation process is frustrating, it feels like management is indifferent, as no one bothers to ask why employees are leaving, instead, resignation seem to be accepted with minimal interaction or feedback, which diminishes the opportunity for constructive change, and you'll ask yourself that XX years of loyalty you've given to organisation who does not even bother. Annual survey, such as "YourSay", give employees a platform to coice their opinions but it often feel like feedback is ignored. Many employe resign due to issues with their manager yet management rarely addresses these concern. Instead of retaining experienced employees, they seem to priortize replacing them, leading to higher training cost and a continued cycle of toxic leadership.
