I joined Back Benchers Education in July 2022, and since then, it has been a wonderful experience for me. Being a content writer, what I find most attractive is that they value creative thinking, which is one of the most essential component for a writer. Besides this, in terms of the organisation's culture, after being here for almost a year, I can vouch for the positive, safe, and outstanding workplace culture that thrives here and the strong, healthy relationships that exist between the employers and employees. Not just this, the proper guidance that is provided helps me navigate through difficult tasks or writeups, especially during the peak hours of the season. Also, there is so much flexibility regarding hours, remote work, and adapting to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies. One thing that I admire about Back Benchers the most, amongst other things, with respect to writing, is that it isn't about the number of experience years you bring but about the quality of ideas and the commitment to delivering them well. Bring in your creativity, a drive to work beyond the scope of your responsibilities, ability to or at least the willingness to learn handling high-pressure situations and you won't regret your decision. The operative word being your willingness and determination to put in the effort, to make something happen. Moreover, it a place where learning happens everyday. Be it under the undergraduate division where creativity is key and you're free reign to use your imagination to create something incredible or under the master's division. In my experience under the master's division, where not only did I learn from interacting with a variety of people but also from the team lead. She guided me throughout my training and ensured that I became capable of mitigating the challenges that are a part of working in this service sector role. Additionally, the environment and work culture provide you with the support and space required by a writer to create something worthwhile. If there's one thing you can be sure of, it's that a stifling cubicle will not be something you will have to ever worry about! But honestly, the overall experience will have taught you a lot. Although Back Benchers is a wonderful place to work at, every space has it discrepancies. Owing to the nature of the job, Burnouts seem unavoidable and sometimes that can damper your creative output and cause frustration. Be on the lookout for that and talk to your supervisors.

Firstly, I have to say that I love the Content Writing Team here. Besides, all of the people are very helpful and will immediately make you feel at home. As our target clients are students, I really enjoy working with them from all around the world. Interacting and working closely with diverse clients thus helps me enhance my communication skills really well. As a writer, I get to have amazing liberty and experimentation with the kind of creative writing and storytelling that I want to do - and always learn about new things. Also, I am happy about getting to even expand my skillset in other realms like digital marketing (Instagram marketing, content ideation, generation, video production) which is a cherry on the cake. I am a firm believer in the fact that there is always a scope for betterment and for Back Benchers I feel that betterment can be done in the field of time management and the way work is allocated. Plus, there is added pressure during the season time which extends from September to January, but similarly, you have comparatively way lesser work in the off-season- February to August, so it balances that way.
