I liked my job except for the politics of the plant level staff. They invent less than real-time reports because they operate without communicating with the Assigned and established procedures and personnel and provide false information contrary to metrics for events that are not presented to effect true performance levels because they would rather accomplish their own set of rules despite their non compliance to corporate operations policies. Then Managers get shifted around and the new manager has no clue how the previous work was presented and has no interest on how the process had been established lushes for years prior to their involvement. Combined with flat disregard for the complete set of metrics data proving performance was contrary to the plants hidden agenda, they lie to the employee being placed in a position of performance deficiency simply because the plant says so, ignoring every piece of the associated and exceptional metrics presented to counter the Plant report, the new manager terminates the employee for not accepting the perception as true performance deficiencies that could not be aprptoately defined by any resources other than word of mouth despite the metrics data presented to the contrary. supported by hidden agendas. It would not effect IT operations if the Operations manager expect and support the same priorities for on site support staff and reference the set of metrics developed and maintained to represent the success of service the same way from one manager to another....Read More

Dislikes

Amcor managers are not interested in how or what Bemis had been doing to make them the best manufacturing company in America. They do not regard any of the quality tools nor do they have any visible technical managerial standards that are established by Bemis before they took over the company that follow any reputable logic.
