Organized format , well maintained hierarchy

No say of store managers in hiring, very high expectations as compared to support. Low support from senior management. Everything has to be done by store mangers.

Bad planning and merchandising. All pressure is on front end and there’s no proper support to team. It does not incorporate the culture of constructive feedback, mutual respect and open dialogue. It does not value the time one has invested in the organisation and unfair promotion/appraisals are done. A lot of politics is there.

See,it's all about to whom you report . Culture comes from the way managers wanted to drive store operations,how pressure is getting downloaded to the front end team. So,it's all about some bosses follow macro management. So, if mutual bonding and understanding is their so culture releases essence thru their work ethics.

Dislikes

Some bosses releases rotten smell thru their work ethics, this way team can never be outperformed. Micromanagement can kill the culture.

I have learnt a lot from this Allen Solly store due to which I have become so interested that even if I give an interview in any other store, at least I will get a post as a Department Manager and salary increment as well.

In our Allen Solly store, new staff gets very good salary growth on hiring but for the old staff, the increment is almost negligible.
