Work hours are fixed, good salary

Dislikes

Partiality between permanent and contract doctors. Permanent doctors take multiple leaves , won't do any holiday duties , doesn't even work when in hospital, but nobody questions. Max work is done by contract doctors

Regular salary, work culture, perks and benefits, good clinical load, facilities, leave policy

Very less salary, minimal appraisal, too much work load,

At all things are quite good in government medical college associated hospital, except the handsome amount of salary and the work load.

To serve mankind, the institute provides me with all forms of resources for not only serving people but also upgrade and update with the latest advances in the field. Decision making and confidence are the qualities the institute let me have as prize.

Fixed working hours...salary good if you stay in low cost of living city like Kolkata...work environment is better than state medical colleges and hospitals.

Dislikes

Lots of paperwork...though most of it is done by juniors but still it's a pity that doctors should do all those American works and they spend their working hours with attending less number of patients (especially junior doctors)...furthermore there are rules which are trusted upon us from HQ...even local administration can't change them and those are real dampners
