...his COVID-19 situation, Deloitte is laying off people without any proper reason. Most of the seniors have requested the leadership for a pay cut and not to lay off people. However, deloitte doesn't care and they have laid off many experienced, smart and amazing hardworking people.

Dislikes

Only your skill set is not enough to survive in Deloitte, you have to search for projects on your own to keep yourself busy with work. They are good when time is good. Deloite is the worst among all big4s during this pandemic. And there is no proper time for your work. People work for 16-17 hours and still gets laid off.

Overall the experience to work in deloitte USI is good. .

One fact is that from year 2023, the company has started some cost cutting as a result of which benefits are lessened.

Likes

Offers competitive package and work balance. However, there's very little scope for growth and innovation. Most of the time goes into handling operational issues and people problems. Very little strategy development happening.

Dislikes

Peer group is fun and collaborative. Senior management is extremely diplomatic and rarely wants to take any action on real issues that employees face.

Deloitte is good in terms of compensation, however given the market conditions for the year 2024 the increments were not really good.

1. Promotion policy 2. Employee well being on some projects 3. Work hours in some projects.

Likes

Management is terminating people even though company is giving bonus and hike. They are least caring of employees.

Dislikes

Lots of politics. If you are lateral hired without knowledge of audit but for them you have complete knowledge of audit. Their expectations are so high even from a fresher. No well being and they always talk about well being.
