Long working hours,strict work culture due to old school senior management. Difficult to balance work and life

Freedom to work in complex onshore hydrocarbon projects, worldwide. Job security, training and on job skill development.

Dislikes

Archaic policies which aren’t employee friendly (eg: Retention pay, sandwich rule, Saturday working etc.). All decision making has to happen through Corporate HR, hence it’s too slow or not consistent with the need of a particular division. Salaries are low. The company prioritizes giving dividend to share holders rather than complete bonuses to loyal employees (Covid). Working in challenging schedules which give poor work life balance. Low basic pay, thus poor retirement benefits. Hence, we are unable to retain employees and our inability to replace them with equatable talent, further compromises the work culture.

Benifit and salary structure is good for ne comer, who switches from another company or GET,PGET.

Dislikes

Culture implementation at site level is not upto the mark what top management shows in upper level. Management now doesn't support in lower level or site management because of much digital implementation system.

You will learn a lot as company is always flooded with projects and work.

...time allowance. The list is endless. Don't want to even talk about compensation. They pay as low as possible. Further have components like retention bonus and PLR, which you will lose even if you resign in last month of appraisal cycle. I will only advise people to join this company for learning, that too for a short timeline of 2-3 years.. Nothing more than that. It becomes very difficult to come out of this company, as they literally suck everything out of you..
